I'm ordering supplies for my reefer 350 and i'm having a trouble choosing between A t5 LED mixture with 2 kessils 360We Tuna blue or a single AP700.

One ATI dimmable T5 or Powermodule for simple plug it in and just grow coral and never have to worry whether you have things setup correctly.
Thanks for sharing. But I believe the original post was asking whether they should use two Kessil A360s or one AP700 eith the aquatic life T5 hybrid fixture. My suggestion was a single AP700, only one cord instead of 4 with two A360s :)

AP700- less cords, wifi programmable (versus needing the spectral controller for the A360s), and gives you the par of 2.5+ A360s. Will need to be mounted fairly high to give you full 48" spread. If that's going to be an issue, then the A360s would probably be easier to utilize.

I'm leaning more towards the AP700 Due to the fact that it's less cords and cheaper than the 3 360's I was planning to originally go with. Never ever using T5's before what bulbs would be the best to use?

4 ati blue plus
Or two ati blue plus and two actinics are my recommendations:)

Whatever bulbs give you the look you prefer visually. You can't really screw it up with T5 bulbs.

It's a lot easier to adjust your color "whiter" with your LEDs, so I typically advocate a blend of T5 bulbs that will give you a fairly blue look and increase / decrease your white LED channels to fine tune to your overall desired look. Without knowing some baseline of what you prefer visually or what your goals are for using T5 bulbs, it's impossible to give you a more definitive answer. ATI blue plus is usually a staple of most T5 setups, so at least half of your bulbs being ATI blue plus bulbs is a good foundation to start from. There's probably 100+ posts of people who ask this same question on choosing T5 bulbs, so you can do a search and get more than enough reading.

I was thinking a blue plus, a coral plus and 2 true Actinic
Perfectly fine combination to use. Overall, it will give you a pretty deep blue color with a bit of "white" mixed in. You should easily be able to tune the overall tank color whiter if needed with the leds. I used a similar setup when I ran 4 bulbs (2 blue plus, 1 actinic, and 1 coral plus). Just as a reminder, the pure actinic bulb may look dim to your eye, but it is still providing very useful light for corals.

Brs removed there Ap700 and went with the 360 for a reason. I would go with the 360 ,I have them with t5s. Love kessil think there's some kinks in the 700 but just do your research...

Can't seem to find their video on why the stopped using the AP700.
I think they preferred the spread from using the A360s. With their canopy height, the AP700s would have given them more hot spots. I think they use 5 A360s now versus the 2 AP700s with their T5s.

What are your Goals? Growth? Color? Controllable? What is "better" would vary considerably depending on what your goals are. IMO the T5's will bring far more growth, but the Kessil will bring that nice color and pop to the tank.
