Hawaii ban marine fish collection.

As hobbyist, we care for our animals. However, there is a trend by state like Hawaii to ban fish collection. How do you feel about this movement? Hawaii gets another proposal to ban marine aquarium fish collection

This has been going on for several years now and have even attended one of the meetings. Like stated above, as in any politics there is good and bad to the proposals as well as people involved on either side. Many quality/ethical diver/collectors have proposed a self limiting/policing system that could work for everyone yet there is always a somebody to spoil the soup. Size and daily quantity limitations seem to be stumbling blocks for a few, and stalls any further progress to implement regulations or complete closure............. Oh well, keep our fingers crossed that one of the times they all can agree to a fair arrangement for all.
