So now that the ban on collecting aqaurium fish in Hawaii is official what can we expect to loose in the way of livestock at our local fish stores ?

Somewhere in the other thread, there's a fairly extensive list, which includes, but is not limited to:

Yellow tang
Kole tang
Chevron tang
Achilles tang
Golden dwarf moray eel
Bandit angelfish
Masked angelfish
Ventralis anthias (as seen above)
Huma-huma-nuku-nuku-apu-a'a triggerfish
Crosshatch triggerfish

Those are the ones I can think of without hitting up Google. It's a lot of species, and there are some very nice fish on the list . . .

~Bruce, hoping that the Hawaii DLNR is feeling energetic enough to get those studies done.

Also on the list would be Flame wrasse, Potter's wrasse, Gold Rim tang (all 3 of which live in my tank:p)

Are Bandit Angels endemic to Hawaii or are they collected elsewhere?

Thanks TerraFerma. Not quite endemic but not much range other than Hawaii.
