Anyone know of a place or where I can buy true Hawaiian fish? I am looking for 3 true Hawaiian pyramid butterflies and 3 true Hawaiian convict tangs. I say Hawaiian cause from what I understand they are more Hardy and better looking. Please let me know or point me in right direction. Thank you

Thank you for your response. Live aquaria can't guarantee me they will be Hawaiian plus thru don't have the convicts right now
Michael stein of nyaquatics is a liar. I would never buy another thing from him. Not even a snail
I'm I talks with zoa collector as we speak
I'll look into pacific east

Sorry you feel that way about Michael, I've purchased about a hundred fish from him over the years and have been quite pleased.

Congrats on your good dealings with him. I'm glad he takes care of some
I'm not here to bash anyone I'm just looking for specific Hawaiian fish. Thought maybe a store/vendor would have some. Maybe a hobbyist looking to get rid of some fish. Maybe someone putting a order in. Etc

Colby with Pacific island aquatics (PIA)I'm sure would be happy to help you since he's in Hawaii. He always has a great list of fish.

I have dealt with Zoa Collector and he is a stand up guy, I would not hesitate to deal with him again.

Yes, Colin at Zoacollector is a very good guy to work with. His fish are always top notch. Just give him enough time to find them for you. It's worth the wait;)

I have also purchased from Ron as well Zoa and both were great to deal with, I got beautiful healthy fish from both.

I just texted his cell and he got back to me pretty quickly, best prices. I believe it's on the home page of his website.

The Hawaiian Convict Tang is considered a food fish and has to be 5 inches to be collected. Which means if you want a smaller convict tang it won't be Hawaiian.
I had one for 15 years before a glass heater broke and tripped the electrical circuit. Was a great fish.
