Hawaiian Flame Wrasse in a 40B?

I'm trying to do research and all the websites I have checked have been different. Vivid's say 30 gallon, LA says 90 gallon, and themarinecenter says 75. I was wondering if they would be able to live in a 40b?

They like to swim a lot so at least provide a bunch of caves and interesting places for the fish to go in and out of. Be sure to put a lid on because they are jumpers like all wrasses.

My only issue is that my male looks cramped when he's trying to do "his thing" with the females. And it's a 4' 150g.

if there's plans for a bigger tank in the next year or so, I would go ahead... IMHO, a 48" long tank would be better when the male is flashing...

I wouldn't recommend any of the Fairy's in anything smaller than a 75g.

I'm sure they can live in something smaller, I just wouldn't do it myself.

I've gone as far as a dozen wrasses in a 100 gal. before.
Mystery, Leopard, YC, RedFairy in a 37cube, no issue.

This issue was my hesitation. I'm fairly confident in my water conditions but not going as far to say its perfect because i dont think thats possible, but the issue of the size of my tank and the size of the HI Flame Wrasse in future gave me concerns. I am thinking of an upgrade soon, but nothing is set in stone.

My friend Shane has a 40 gallon breeder with a trio of Hawiian flame wrasse that have been in there for over a year and they are doing great.

when you see the male HI Flame flash, you'll have the urge to upgrade...

+2 here..after keeping fairys for sometime and watching them display i think it is better to keep them in larger tank 75 or larger...the only one i would keep in a smaller tank would be a c. rubriventralis..also a flasher wrasse would not be bad in a tank that 40
