Hawkish with odd habits...

Hello Refer's,
My hawkish has adopted a rather strange habit. It had taken somewhat of a shine to one of my snails...and literally lays on it all the time. Sometimes the fish goes completely limp, and actually looks dead. It only does this with this one snail. Not just it is a big deal, but I find it strange. Is this normal?

They like to perch and will select favorite 'perch spots'. Mine loves the magnet and a spot by a pink gonipora

same here. my flamehawk's will perch on snails that are on the walls
