Ok so I have a fowlr 20gal tank and for the past couple days it has it has got hazy/ cloudy. I do my regular water changes and I also did a water change this morning. Before I did the water change this morning I did my water changes. And here are the stats!!! Look at the pic below. Now I have plenty of flow and also have a penguin 350 hob filter and also have chaeto in the tank. I have done everything I know of and I can not get it crystal clear like it was. I also have a dsb and there is no uneaten food left in. The parameters of the water are high, and I don't understand why. Please help!!!!

The food in the last pic on the sand is from just feeding them about a half hour ago!!!

The presence of ammonia and nitrite lead me to beleive this tank isn't cycled fully. How old is it? How long did you wait before adding fish?

It's been running for a little bit over a month. My lfs said I can use this water and live sand and I could add live rock and would be good to go and add 2 fish.

The fish have been in there for about a week. The water has been crystal clear and then all of a sudden this happened.

The first thing I would worry about is the ammonia. Maybe try picking up some dr tims bacteria or a product like prime. The ammonia is your real problem here as even at low levels it is very toxic to fish. Get your ammonia down to zero and then worry about clearing the water up.

Ok I looked up dr tims bacteria and they have 2 different ones for saltwater. Is one better then the other?
