So I discovered there "is" a reef club in the area. They don't Facebook or really post anything in the LFS. It almost sounds like a small tight knit secret group. One of the members seen a post on here where I commented not having one in the area and PM'd me. They have a member that has a PAR meter and said they could probably come over and do some measurements! HECK YA!
Once I know where I'm at on lighting I plan to start stocking some corals. I know there will be two more lights in my future to cover the back corners but I'm not sure what to go with. I have been EXTREAMLY lucky with this tank so far, everything is maturing nicely and (Knock on wood) I have had ZERO nucience algae. The tank is so big and frags are so small I have no idea what to get and where to place stuff where it will look good when they grow out. If anyone has suggestions don't be afraid to make suggestions and recommendations on what to get and where to put them....ok, we are talking in the tank placement.
I have literally only had my hands in this thing 5 times since I first filled it. 2 casualty retrievals (Blenny and CBB), putting the RBTA in, the ugly leather/gsp rock and cleaning and placing the barnacles in today.
