HD's 144 1/2 Moon

The coloration on that thing is just stunning. I couldn’t imagine buying something like that and with my luck killing it shortly after.
Yep, I know exactly what you mean. My rock is even struggling! :D

Thanks, it ended up being a great colony, it paid off sticking around the coral show until closing time. ;)
Hopefully my little issue clears up in my tank soon so I can get them going! My wife is loving all of them in hers at the moment. I want to get the encrusted montis growing, then a plate like @Flippers4pups and hope it turns out 1/2 as nice!

So I'm looking for some feedback. I mentioned needing more light/s and had some great reponses, but money talks. I am looking to supplement the 2 Al hydra 26's that are currently in the tank. I found some used 48" current orbit IC pro with mounts for a good price. I have read the reviews and the are ok, not great but ok. But they might be good enough to cover the dark corners and add more to the front and back of the tank if I place one forward of the hydras and one aft towards the back of the tank. Anyone use these lights or seen these lights in action? Would you recommend these lights or walk away?

Once I added the Aquatic Life hybrid, the coralline in my tank took off. And it fills in all the dark corners completely. You could go the cheaper way and get a couple of the 2 bulb fixtures to better suit your tank too. Like a 4 ft for the back and a 3 ft for the front.

Hey @Katrina71, I finally figured out where my Solorensis sleeps when I watched him swim into his condo, it looks like he took the penthouse suite. Checked this morning and he was still kicked back. Lights are still off so the pic isn't great.

Happy Saturday! Haven't updated for awhile. Sadly my 2nd CBB didn't survive so I'm done trying. But, I did add some new additions over the last several weeks. A Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon meleagris), Exquisite Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus Exquisitus), a tiger goby with a tiger pistol. The Dino battle is over and everything is getting back to normal. Water tests in all 3 tanks tonight and coral transfer from the wife's tank to mine tomorrow. Have a great day!

Yep, bummer on the CBB. They can be tough to keep.

How's the leopard eating?
Eating good really good so far, it is allot slower then the others. Really a calm and peaceful fish. They all get a mixture of lrs, mysis, emerald entree and pellets everyday. It's usually a frenzy when I feed, I can see it eat but I can't pinpoint exactly what it's going after.
