Heads up on AI Aquagadget feeder

Cleaned mine and went to put back in tank, it disintegrated. Its about a year old and the inside is just about pure rust. Had a load of it dump in my system, over-filtering and mildly panicking. Guessing this was never really watertight.

Thanks for the heads up. I have used one of these for the last few months. I like it really well, but will have to keep my eye on the magnet. Sometimes I wonder if these companies (1) make a product but never test it over the long haul or (2) make it so it will not last and customers have to rebuy the product. Neither are good business practices IMO. Thanks

Same thing happened to mine and nearly wiped out all of my sps. As a general rule, I check any magnet in my system once a month or any time I do maintenance.
