Health of torch questionable!

So I got this torch from my friend a few days ago because it wasn’t doing well in his tank. He has one in his tank already and is doing great. Just wondering what y’all think? Is his normal and what it looks like with new growth? Idk just need some feed back on this guy and what should I do!

Looks like the flesh band has completely receded. Hard to say if it's still declining or stabilizing.
