Im buying these live rocks later today to save a ton of money, on my new tank. When talking to the owner his light recently broke, and cannot afford to buy a new lighting figure. He is allowing me to take his whole tank and with all his accessories.

Please what is on the rocks, and if there is any chance with better water parameters it will go away. Is getting these dangerous ? Let me know ASAP thank you before i make the mistake on buying them.

What is on these corals, are they easy to remove if necessary? Should i buy them or not ?

Buying? your other post said free. and you were told the rock (as it sits) is crap. Only worthwhile if recooked and recured.

Looks like the red form of Bubble Algae to me. I also see the green form. No it will not go away with better lighting. That rock is going to need major cleaning!

^^^ Agreed, garden rock-need to sit out in the sun for a month and month of soaking scrubbing and you should have some decent base rock

Hey I can see the picture now. Take the rock for free, and buy ten emerald crabs. Watch them mow down the algae.

Buy it. Cook it for 3 months. It will be beautiful.

It will need cooked. I can imagine that the pores of those rocks are full of gunk and junk.
