I haven’t found any “thermostats” or heater “controllers on the usual aquarium websites. What do you guys use?

I have an inkbird myself, but what are your 'usual' websites?

Perhaps you missed these:

I guess I overlooked those lol

What makes them so great compared to a regular heater and a thermometer?

Here's what I use

That looks fancy. I just went with the finnex one.

I’m thinking of using an inline heater. Just to have less **** in the tank. I wonder how accurately these work with those

Should work just fine I've used mine with a cobalt neotherm and now a brs titanium. With the cobalt I set it 1 degree hotter than the controller and it ran fine until the upgrade.

I've been running an inline heater on my 93 gallon FW tank for about 6 or 7 years now. It has stayed dead on 98 degrees and I love it. It's probably the only reason I've stayed with the canister filter. There shouldn't be an issue with using a controller, but You'll want to make sure it's suitable for marine tanks. Mine isn't.

I use inkbird controller- has been reliable
