Has anyone ever tried the
Inkbird Digital Outlet Heat Temperature Controller with Day Night Control for Brewing, Aquarium, Breeding, Reptiles, Hatching, Heat Mat (No Cool Control)

This one has dual heat control or any suggestions. Thanks
Jerry

I just got a JBJ True Temp. It looks similar, but only controls 1 heater and is twice the price. If all you're looking for is a simple controller, for $30 it seems like it would work and for a good price.

Either of those are good controllers if your heaters have thermostats on them as well (Ehiem, Fluval, Finnex, etc.). If you are using titanium or another uncontrolled heating element, then I might suggest that you spend just a bit more on a Ranco.

My ehiem failed on the "on"postion

I use the same one as @lion king. So far (only about 8mos) I haven't had any issues with it. I like that it controls fans as well.
Ive seen on other threads there was some concern over corrosion on the temp probe. I look at mine every water change, and probe still looks brand new. I will probably coat it with a bit of silione, just for a little peace of mind.

Why is ranco the best, it seems ink bird has heat and cool controls. A fan can be hooked to one and heater to the other. I don't see a cool port on the Ranco.

Ranco has a dual-control unit too... or just one. Your choice.

Ranco usually lasts for decades and is used in industrial applications. I have never had one fail. The very few that you have heard about failing fail "off" which is good. Nothing else consistently fails off like these do.

If the person who got the first InkBird is still using it, then it is not yet old enough to determine if it is reliable by Ranco standards.

I used the Ranco etc-111100. It has a 0-10V output for the temperature reading. I plan to connect this into a particle micro-controller so I can view the temp from my phone.

What does your circuit board look like on the 111100? I have the one w/0 the analog out, and am wondering if all that's needed is some headers soldered to the board, or if there is more logic than that. My board looks like this, and the analog out is where the circled area is...
