Heater failure…but did it fail?

So recently, we had to run my house on a generator and I’m having suspicions that the generator messed with it. It can’t hold a consistent temperature and is always fluctuating daily from 77-81 ish which is not detrimental, it’s a pain to continue dealing with. It was the Eheim Jager 100W. Do you think the generator made this heater faulty and I should replace it?
