Heater failure prevention device?

I’m not sure what to title this thread, so the name might not match the content, anyway I have a question. Is there a device or system that can alert you, either with a loud beep or a notification on your phone, if your aquarium heater fails or gets stuck in the ‘on’ position?

Reef monitors do this and much more(Apex etc.), but they pricey. You can get a socket with temp meter, so you have some redundancy (Timer Socket Thermostat Digital Temperature <- like this on aliexpress). I am sure there are some simple alarms out also

I have used InkBird 306 wifi with dual probes for many years.

Posts to your phone.
Keeps daily temps in a chart, sends notifications, turn on/off remotely.

My solution is to control the rooms temperature and not run a heater at all. I find people for whatever reason tend to run their reefs at the high side of temperatures. Personally I've found coral health to improve, corals are able to handle other fluctuations like alk phos,nit, easier when running my reefs around 77 degrees.

I just installed the Helio universal controller in my new tank yesterday. It manages my 2 300 watt heaters. I have a main and then a second for redundancy incase the main fails.
I will also still be replacing them yearly yo be safe

+1 I also use Helio, it has a loud audible alarm for run-dry or temp too low or high.

Inkbird. 40€ for a peace of mind.
