All,

I’m building a new sump for my 75 Gallon Reef tank. The new sump will be built in an Aqueon 20g Long tank. I have a good heater in my current sump, but I’m looking for something with a smaller foot print. The tank width is 12.5”. A good 300 watt heater with a foot print of less than 12 inches would be ideal. Does any one have any recommendations?

I haven’t actually checked the size of it but the Cobalt Neotherms are about as small as you’ll find for the wattage

I have a 300 watt Neotherm. It actually has two parts to it. One controller/heater and one xtra heat module. They are both about 11"x 2" x 0.75". Very accurate. My only complaint is they only control temperature to even numbers, 76, 78, 80, etc

Awesome. Thanks. I’ll look into that one.
