Heater inside a protein skimmer

hi everyone! Excuse my newbie question, Just want to know if can put a heater inside a protein skimmer? Just got a reef octopus bh100 and seems that a heater will fit in with one of its chamber.

the temp of the air might cause the heater to stay on and run the temp of the tank up.

But here is the question
What about cleaning the skimmer?
It will add time or impede the cleaning of the skimmer

The heater will not be effective due to water bubbles low temperature
