What do most reefer due with heater when it gets warm? Assuming once tank temp is above heater temp they are off but will turning off by controller or pulling a better option. Thinking more for warm climate areas, already in upper 90's outside so inside is upper 70's

I just left mine plugged in and let the controller do its thing. At night if it gets cool out you don't want the tank temp to fall. So leave it programmed like normal. If the temp never falls then the controller simply doesn't provide power to the heater :)

Agree with that logic, what i am afraid of is fan and heater are fighting it out during the day for a few weeks, pretty soon i cant get inside below 79 deg anyway i guess thats a minor drawback, temp consistence of tank is better
