Heater not working

So my heater went out as it was heating my wluckily i have a spare laying around bad thing it was In my freshwater did take it out months ago it was next to my tank...
cleaned very well with vinegar and then rinsed it off with distilled water and p it it rigth into my tank

Is it the heater safe even doe I had it laying around on the floor ? Even doe I washed it completely ?

Pretty sure that will void your life-insurance policy, but the tank should be fine

I have a b heater as well but is a 150 watt for a 75 gallon idk if it will work
