As long as the whole heater stays submerged, it's okay to stick one in between baffles, right? Space is a bit tight in my sump, and while both of them could theoretically fit in the refugium area, it would take up space I'd like to use for normal fuge stuff. Or should I try to stuff the second heater in the filter sock/skimmer section, instead of between baffles? Thanks.

Anywhere with high flow that doesnt block the flow of your sump. Also make sure if you have a remote sensor probe that the heaters go after it.

Hm. So my temp probes should probably go in the sock/skimmer section then. Good point- I hadn't thought of that! I'll put one skimmer in the fuge and one between the baffles separating fuge from return section (which is just 2 inches to narrow to allow the whole heater to submerge, even tilted at an angle). Thanks!
