I have a Aqueon 150 w have not had it to long and i see where the black is coming off is it safe to use?

I had one with almost all of the black paint gone before I threw it away. It did not cause any issues. However, I won't recommend keep it for more than 1year

I couldn't tell you if it would be harmful or not, but heaters are a big source of crashes.... I tend to stick with a more trusted brand like Eheim Jager...
