Heater settings for Inkbird & Apex?

Hello,

What settings do you have your dual heater Inkbird & the Apex for backup set at?

how much temp fluctuation do you have?

I have 2x 300w heaters on a 167g total system…

I have the apex and inkbird set to 78 degrees
On average, my tank is 78.7

Do you have 1 heater?

how does that work having them both at the same setpoint? Do you have the inkbird plugged into the apex? Wouldn’t the apex turn off the outlet / Inkbird at 78, or is that how you like it?

im just trying to smooth mine out… especially with 2 heaters & use apex for backup

I have a 1.5 degree buffer on my apex... In case something went horribly wrong with the ink bird

actually its 2 degrees... I heard that having the apex turn on and off often is not good for the life of the energy bar....
