I use a InkBird temp controller too and couldn’t be happier with it.I also have a 125 gal tank + 40 gal sump ... I use a 300 watt with inkbird control ... heater only turns on a few times a day and sometimes not at all...and the inkbird also turns on the fans to cool the tank....
So, ambient temp is the important factor... my tank uses fans more than heat. My temp has been plus or minus 1 degree for years. ... inkbird works great

I will be running maxspect f350 wave pumpsIt would depend on several factors including ambient temp but in my 125 I use 600w of heaters (2 300 watt heaters).
I have two maxspect f350 that will be running.I use a InkBird temp controller too and couldn’t be happier with it.
There are multiple factors that influence it including surface agitation and the amount of pumps and how hot those pumps get. I have a 100g tank in the same room as my 125 and it never needs the heater, I actually need to put a fan on it because it runs slightly hotter than what I’d like.
Only one or two?I also have a 125 gal tank + 40 gal sump ... I use a 300 watt with inkbird control ... heater only turns on a few times a day and sometimes not at all...and the inkbird also turns on the fans to cool the tank....
