Heater summer storage

What do you folks do with your heaters once spring is done?
Do you leave them in the sump or do you pull them into dry storage?

I leave them in and unplug it

Mine are hooked to my Apex and if they aren't needed... then I let Apex manage that

I just leave them in there but i keep the ac real low so heater is necessary all year.

Unplug one heater and plug a fan into its apex socket.
Change the program to cool with the fan.
