So I am breaking down my qt system because I don't intend on adding fish for a long while. I am working on a 32g brute saltwater storage system and i am curious if the neotherm heater would be safe to use in my salt water storage or if it would leech copper into the water. Would rinsing be good enough? Or is the heater basically useless now

It should be. Rock is pourous as is silicone. The heater is not

Totally fine. I'm using a heater in my invert quarantine that was previously used in a copper system.

Thank you guys. I didn't want to have to buy another heater for this system if I have a perfectly good neotherm available

I think any copper leeching will be non existent,
