Need some advise on what heater to get that is most accurate and good reviews for 16g bio cube . Any help will be greatly appreciated

A 75W Eheim Jager would do the job; they are very reliable and have a long proven track record.

BRS did an evaluation of heaters a while back and, if I remember correctly, the Eheims did very well. I've used them for many years and never had a problem; good price point too.

Thanks, going online to order. Also need recommendations on led light for 27g cube. I really like Steve's led light on the bio cube with controller after trial and error figuring it out but you can never get a response from them.

I use/like the AquaIllumination Hydra 26 for that size tank. I've also heard good things about Skkye which is much cheaper ( about $80) and only has blue and white leds, but grows acans and other lps/softies well.

It will be a SPS only tank. Was going to go back to halide but seems everything is moving more towards led these days. I do like the shimmer effect they put off.

If you aren't going to use a controller(apex ghl etc) or a heater controller(ranco , inkbird etc) Cobalt neotherms are the most stable/accurate out of the box.

Thanks, already purchased eheim Hager so I hope it does the job. Sure do regret getting rid of most my hardware from previous tanks

Then I would suggest picking up an inkbird controller of amazon/ebay. Set the controller to the temp you want and the heater a degree or two above(but still in the range things will survive) and you'll at least have a measure of safety.

Depending on your location if you don't need to worry about overheating then skip the ones that have a cooling outlet and go for one that just does heating.

I had a Cobalt Neo Therm 150 for a year. In December it failed and cooked all of my corals. Temp went up to 92. Cobalt was nice enough on the phone about it, sent me a new heater, but that didn't make up for the hundreds of dollars of lost corals. I now have an Autoaqua Smart Temp security hooked up.
