Can you provide more info? I'm not familiar with GHL products other than Profilux, Mitras, and dosers. I couldn't find any info with a Google search, either.Or you could get both with the GHL heat pumps![]()
Depends on the environment, my system being experimental is outside here always sunny California, we get up to a hundred and ten degree weather out here, both set up on a temperature controllers, but I have two temperature controllers one for cooling and the other for heatingDo you need both a heater and a chiller? I’ve read mixed reviews on this and kind of confused. Why would you have both?

Fans are the bomb, because not only do they cool for cheap you also get evap so you can push more kalkwasser. Double bonus.Generally you will need a heater just to keep temperatures up, even in warm places like here in SoCal, my heater kicks on in the "winter" months. So a heater is a must in most cases. Most can get away without a chiller as tank temperatures can get into the low 80s without any harm, but when you start hitting 83-84+ degrees a sump fan works wonders, and if all else fails then use a chiller to get those temperatures down.
Chillers are more of an excess purchases unless your temps are reaching the numbers above. When i first switched over to coral, bought a 1/10hp chiller, waste of 700 bucks. I use a sump fan which keeps my temps at 79.5(average) on hot summer days here in SoCal.
Yeah like i like to tell people, before you go all out, a small cheap, fan like this(i have a 6 head version) can work just as well as a chiller, and save you so much money.Fans are the bomb, because not only do they cool for cheap you also get evap so you can push more kalkwasser. Double bonus.

Unfortunately they can't get parts so the product is on hold. I am totally interested in this though it is based on heat pump tech which I use to heat and cool my house for very cheap (mini split).
I was being a bit feciousous when I posted because I knew they were not making them, so there is that.![]()
Very cool. Thank you very much for this. I am generay fairly ignorant of ProfiLux and what all equipment/features GHL has created.![]()

Mine are 12v, which is nice since i can run them off a battery back up if the need be, like on a hot summer day when power goes out since everyone is blasting their AC.@Fishurama what voltage are those fans?
I am more and more impressed with them. Several years ago I looked at them and was like meh, but it seems that they are doing more now.Very cool. Thank you very much for this. I am generay fairly ignorant of ProfiLux and what all equipment/features GHL has created.
Can you share the link to the fans? thanksYeah like i like to tell people, before you go all out, a small cheap, fan like this(i have a 6 head version) can work just as well as a chiller, and save you so much money.
