Heaters for Icecap 15 Sump?

I just ordered an Icecap 15 sump for a 40g breeder. I live in Florida and we keep our house between 70F --72F. I looked at some charts and I believe 150--200 watts should so the job.

The skimmer and return compartments are only 9.8 inches on the longest side. I realize you can install a heater at an angle to gain some space, but you're only going to gain a little across a 9.8 inch span. I'll need short heaters.

I was looking at the eHeim Jagar TruTemp 75w and was planning to buy at least 2 for the sump... maybe have a backup on hand.. so 3?

I've never had a sump of this fashion. In the past, I always made my own from an old glass tank and some plexiglas baffles. Is it okay to suction cup a heater to a plastic sump body? What if it falls off? If memory serves me correctly.... suction cups fail after a few months of use in a saltwater system. Is the sump gonna melt?

Other options? Really don't want them in the tank. What's the point of a sump then?

I believe the Cobalt Neotherm now comes as two Daisy chained heater bodies in sizes over 200w or something, they might be a more compact option than the Jager.

I use the Jager and I have nothing bad to say about it other than it can be a quite combersom piece of equipment in a tight space. It holds the selected tmperature very well after you've calibrated it.
