I'm just running an aqeon heater, but it's set low, so if the temp drops it kicks on, I also have a chiller running though, so if it gets too hot it'll cool off, temp sits at 78
I just picked up an aqeon 100w for mine. I also plan on getting another 50 watt as backup and setting it a few degrees lower than the main heater for safety this winter.
I've got the Aqueon pro in my JBJ 30. I like this heater because it's not glass. I started with the cheap Aqueon made out of glass and it only lasted a couple of months. If I shake it enough, I can get it to cut on to heat my water for a water change. I've never had a problem out the pro model. It's a 200w model but I keep the temperature setting on 72 which keeps my tank at 78.8 and 79.2.
