I will be setting up my 250 gallon aquarium soon and I would like to know which heater I should go with. Total water volume will be about 330 gallons including the sump. Money is not a concern, I just want the best product available. Thank you!!

Whatever you do, get two. One for redundancy. The Schego heaters are top of the line but I went for Eheim Jagers. I like the idea of setting the temp on the heater just above the temp you set on the controller. That way if the controller fails it won't boil you tank.

I went with 2 of the JBJ true temp titanium heaters with controllers.
I set them to come on at 77F and off at 79F with their controllers.
My Apex will not supply them power until the temp gets below 78F and off when it hits 78.5F.
Its as fail safe as I can be.
