I guess... but before my nikon got left on a beach (i won't say who did it) i found that these lenses did an excellent job. Took beautiful macros of jewelry that I used to make. Your camera is taking terrific closeups without one so, it's really up to you what you want to spend. JM2C :)

I may go with the tamron 90mm macro. I definitely need more zoooooom lol. I'll shop for a while. See if I can ninja something under 200

I also was seeing what I'm think was bleaching a bit on some sps just 2 pieces so I dialed back my lights a bit again. I think I made 2 big of a jump. Gonna see what happens for a minute. Went back to 40% white and 75% blue at max ramp.

My goal is to make that aussie echinata look perfect where it's at in the tank hopefully everything else will like that lighting schedule also. The aussie has been in the tank longest and is from what I understand finicky. Hard to get good pictures of blue from my understanding also.

That's a great lens. Do you have local Facebook resale groups where you are? If so, you can post a ISO post for the camera lens. Someone may have one but never thought to sell it. I did it once for an under the cabinet microwave. Got a brand new one for $40 ;)

Yeah, after i turned my lights back on I didn't realize my LEDs lost their settings and slightly bleached my favorite acro at the top. It hasn't STN'd so I'm pretty sure I caught it in time. Those LEDs are bad *** when it comes to bleaching quickly!

That aussie enchinata is sweet! Cameras just don't do them justice. The pearlberry is the same way but both are gorgeous acros in person. It's hard to say what might be my top favorites as there's so many lol, but those 2 are in my top 5.

Borrowed a par meter from the iowa club GIRS. My Max schedule I'm getting 480 at the water and around 180 - 200 where my sps sit. Acans are at 50 on the edges of tank sand bed. Zoas in the middle are getting 100 ish.

Also I got a red sea nitrate and phosphate test kit. So they tested .25 nitrate and .04 phosphate. Seems pretty low. Still have my tiny bits of cyano that are frustrating me but aren't bad. Replaced my gfo n carbon Tuesday maybe that will drop my phosphates and clear the cyano up. I think making 0 tds water myself is going to help also.

Yeah I agree :)

Just be careful not to disturb the cyano (unless vacuuming it out) or it'll spread. I'm glad i ran chemiclean on mine. Even at 1/2 dose it did great. I've been down this road before... The bad thing is that it can kill good bacteria so I'm diligent about replacing it right away.

Was gone yesterday out of town. Apparently my exquisite wrasse somehow jumped up through my screen top and got stuck up there. One dried out fishy! Sucky

Apparently my power was out for a bit also. Isn't a but deal but my skimmer won't restart on its own. Gotta blow in the intake. My next project to fix.
