I'm only splurging this month because I just got a substantial bonus. This pack is actually a bit scarey to me right now because Idk if I can keep it alive. It's also hard to hold up to the standards set by Battlecorals with the way he makes these pieces look in his pictures. I can't wait to throw them in the tank and see what I can do at the same time.

I picked up my riptide from the lfs but didn't even have time to open the box today. I'll play with that tomorrow I hope. Idk. I need to do a WC and go pick up my truck from the shop and I'm also snowmobiling from 3 - 7. Than I need to pack for chicago trip. Legoland sat and stop by Adam to grab my pack sunday. Gonna be a busy weekend.

If I remember right, Adam has his corals growing under LEDs. So you should be good there. But start them low in the tank after you slow drip acclimate them for no less than 3 hrs. I usually do 4hrs.

Pretty sure adam is growing corals under every known lighting source and there all Aewsome.

4 sure. I'm gonna get me some more poop also soon. I still need a bigger return pump but I'll get it soon. Also my koralia ' s are soaking I'll box em up soon.

What return pump do you have now? I love the jebao dc12000. It's silent and pushes a ton of water. I don't even have it turned up all the way. It runs 3 - 3/4" returns w/ 22' total head) plus 4 reactors 3' head. I paid $110 through fish-street

I have a cheap aqua top 977 which is lacking in flow. I'm gonna grab a dc 9000l I figure that will do everything I need. The 12000 would be over kill I think.

Actually I'll probably order it through amazon here today. There like 90 bucks. The lfs wants 200. I don't mind buying from them and paying a bit more but that's 2 much.

I hate when lfs price gouge

and they wonder why so many close their doors. That's why there are none near me anymore.

Yeah, that's overkill. I've seen them at $120, $140 but never that high. Maybe if you asked him nicely if he (or someone else) made an error on the pricing and why. FS didn't even charge me shipping.
