What cha think about treating the tank? Copper or something. Kill ich if it's there? No corals. Even maybe apistasia X also..... Idk.

The clear spots on my rabbit fish are worrying me he's still eating good but...

Idk what I'm gonna kill here but I'm treating ich - x. I'm hoping my shrimp, snails, and crabs make it through the treatments and it solves my problems. I think this all started with my heater going down. My water temp was swinging pretty far up n down. Dropped to 72 the one morning. Pretty glad I don't have corals yet. I will be buying a used bio cube in the near future for a qt tank. That's for sure.

Look on craigs list for something like a 29-30g to use as a qt. they are usually pretty cheap. I got one for $30 with filter and light. Not too big and not too small. I found this was the only way to treat my powder blue tang and to use coppersafe. I tried the others and found copper safe to work best.

Yah. That's on my list of places to look. My lfs has a 14g bio cube for 75.00. Everything with it. Used. Figured that would save me a million hassles.

I'm hoping this treatment will kill the ich in the DT. And I won't be adding anything for a few weeks or until my qt tank is up n running. No more chances.

25% water change Saturday I'll really get into my sand bed and brush all my rock in the waste water. Probably do a Rodi water bath for 2 min to the rock also. Idk.

Run some carbon in my bubble trap next week. Atleast. Try and clean out the treatment.

Than again on the qt tank. A bio cube would be really small if I ever wanted to pull all my fish out of my tank it wouldn't work. Would be fine for new stuff. One fish at a time or a few frags here and there. I think it would be a start anyways. If all works out I should be adding new stuff for along time here. After I get this thing ready. Progressing really slow and this ich has almost made me not wanna do anything in the tank. Pretty bummed.

Yah I figure two big bags next week. Throw out than one bag for about a month replacing every 2 weeks.

I'm thinking this tank is just telling me to break it down and drill it and scape it. New sand. I want reef flakes! Idk. If I'm down to just my wrasse and my purple tang it's on.

Well quick update my foxface was out begging for food today. Still breathing kinda heavy but ate well. Which is progress. I've dosed 3 times with ich x seems to be helping. The bottle reads every 24 hrs or up to every 8. I've been dosing every 12. My algae is changing colors a bit but if I save the fish and my inverts are still alive it's a win for now! Also found a 29 bio cube that needs light bulbs for 75.00. Probably get that soon as I can. Will be a great qt \ acclimation tank for the future of my hobby.

Lol to top off my awesome tank week. One of my power heads didn't start back up today after Feeding. Ugh! I wanted to upgrade but not this soon.

Well got my power head working again. Now my skimmer is acting up. Isn't bubbling for crap took it all apart and cleaned. Didn't open up the psk1000 but I'm thinking it's just the chemicals I'm dosing the ich with making it act weird. Or I'm praying. Lol
