Marineland has a line of heaters out. They are shatterproof and automatically shut off when out of the water.

Paul, where can you find the new line? All i've found i believe is the original model stealth, not the new line.

I agree on the Stealth. I like the shatter-proof design. They're all I use.

can't go wrong with Stealth heater. Only thing I don't like is that there are no light indicators to show you if it's working... but I've yet to have one fail. For your setup, I'd recommend 2x200w stealth heaters for redundancy.

I've used the old models with great success. The only difference with the new ones is the LED and the "shut-off" capability when removed from the water.

Any heater should be plugged into a controller of some type - hobby heaters are not to be trusted.
