My tank is 75gal. 1 month old. I think it's bioload heavy because I have 7 fish and I feed them 3 times a day (frozen mysis). I've only done 1 wc so far. How come Nitrate is only 10ppm? Does skimmer have anything to do with it? It's been pulling out a lot of nasty stuff.

If the skimmer is pulling out waste before it breaks down then yes you are going to see reduced nitrates as the skimmer is pulling the excess waste that the bacteria would use to covert to nitrate.

That makes sense thank you! :)
