I have a pintail wrasse in QT with two other wrasses and a starry blenny (20 long tank). Received shipment of fish on Tuesday. Everything looked good when received. Pintail always hid. This morning it is breathing hard and has lost some color on back half. No spots. Two questions.
1. Should I move this fish to tank by itself to protect other fish in QT?
2. Suggested treatment to try to save this fish?

The fish may have ammonia burn from shipping. Treat with methylene blue in a bath or QT. This will help the fish to transpire O2 across the gill membrane. The loss of color can be the result of restricted O2.

Thanks for the reply.
