I recently did an ATI water test and it uncovered Copper and Zinc in my RO water. I'm not sure how it would get there.

My best three guesses are:

1- Somehow it is in source water and making it thru a sentiment filter, 2 carbon filters, 2 100gph RO membranes and 2 DI resin filters.

2- It is leaching out of a booster pump I installed when I set this up. After realizing it was not needed I unhooked the power supply, but still have RO line running thru it. (Just by-passed this in case)

3- It is leaching out of either powerheads or heaters that I use for mixing saltwater.

If anyone knows if any of these are possible or even another source that I am missing would be greatly appreciated.

TIA for any help or opinions on this.

Do was changes a few weeks back. Sentiment and carbons just got changed but after this test was sent.

Does that cause high c o p0er and zinc?

Contaminants may have passed through if the filters were old. I would test again and see if that was the cause.
