Hectors 75g

Should be fine. I personally like my reactor output flowing in the same compartment as my return pump, only because it's passed through carbon and "cleaner."

Tubing is fine in the water, another thing that I have, because my output tube is in the compartment over, I have the tubing above the water line just to break the surface tension and keep the return compartment from "stagnating."

Still working on the electronics by tomorrow night it should be situated

Electronics taken care of skimmer in sump and carbon running in my brs reactor testing tomorrow I think..

Do I need all these tests? Probably not.. I think I'll stick with the Mg Ca and Alk and do triton periodically any input?

New filter socks came today and bam skimmer is in action after a few weeks of wondering if it was going to work, changing water levels , almost anything you can think of so for people who are having trouble keep in mind something as little as new socks could make a change

Very nice set up. I think 75g is a perfect size. Can't wait to see more!

Thanks Mark! Initially I thought I would have needed or wanted a bigger tank but when I saw this 75g in person I was amazed and really surprised it's a marineland to be honest and the gentleman I bought it from really put time into the plumbing

Glad to hear. I'llbe following along. What fish are you thinking?

To start the only fish I want in the tank happen to be a pair of goldband maroons. I've wanted a pair for almost 6 years and have never been in the situation to buy a good pair till I moved back home and now have AReefCreation pretty close. Besides the Clowns I want 1 tang, 1-2 anthias not sure in which yet, and then down the road a Mandarin Dragonette which I've already started stocking for both in the display and sump.

Edit: Nearly forgot a wrasse! Ha I want I leopard wrasse and since I've got time I can be picky.

Tank looks great. If you are going to run bear bottom you may want to rethink the wrasse idea. A lot of the wrasse bury themselves at night in the sand.

Anyone have an idea on how I could get a 3rd Hydra 26hd over this tank? I want a better coverage over the entire tank.
use a kessel goose neck. I hung mine with the goose necks and only used 2 for my 72 bowfront.

Ive got a marineland 90 and 2 hydra 26 was not enough so i bought 2 ai primes and added one to each side. Worked great for me and was cheaper than buying 2 hydra 26. I ran into the same problem as you with the center brace so I figured that 3 clusters over each side would be perfect. Im pretty sure that the light clusters on the prime are very close to if not the same clusters as on the hydra 26 and 52s
