Heemit crab ID needed

Does anyone know what type of hermit this is?

He filter feeds, sits in sand with his shell covered and just front legs and eyes picking out, has very long legs and a large front claw.

He also moves oddly for a hermit.

Came with some algea hermits but is obviously the black sheep of the group and I'm struggling to ID him

Can you go and get a photo of it in white light? It’s color is important for ID

Just looked it up, and I agree. Ive never seen a crab like that in the hobby!

Thank you, I think that's definately it. He even moves backwards, he's cool and seems harmless so happy days

He's fascinating to watch, nothing like the other hermits in his movement and behaviour.

THANK YOU for this thread. I have had these hermits for a year and could not come close to identifying it. They are really efficient sand sifters and also do seem to filter feed.
