heliofungia actiniformis

I love the heliofungia actiniformis coral and I am looking for a blue one. Has anyone seen any lately. I saw one at a lfs and could kick myself for not getting it then. Thanks in advance.. I'm new here and not really sure about the forum

Welcome to R2R! I haven't ever seen one, maybe contact one of our sponsors like Sexy Corals, World Wide Corals, Reef Odyssey, etc and see if they can get you one? A lot of our sponsors get some real rare stuff and will keep their eyes open for one for you.

Ive seen washed out light blue Fungia's...never anything worth buying

no.. this thing was dark blue with light blue tips.. tentacles weren't exactly shaped like the traditional heliofungia, but i was told it was a long tentacled plate coral. it was absolutely beautiful and was probably about 3-4 inches across for about 70 dollars. I had some bills to pay at the time so I missed out
