Recently added a Feliofungia to my aquarium. What I want to know is how much flow does the coral need. All I have right now for flow is my 30 gallon hang on the back filter. This is a nano 20 gallon long aquarium so if I do need flow I'm not sure the amount. Does anyone think I need a powerhead and if so what gallon per hour would you recommend. Post pictures of other Feliofungia I would love to see them.
(PICTURE IS BEFORE LIGHTA TURNED ON!)

You might want to move it down to the sandbed. I have mine in a medium flow area and I spot feed it every 7 to 10 days but that's not necessary.

WOW AK! That's huge! How long have you had that? Have you had it in the sand bed the whole time? I was actually thinking if doing that but I didn't want any of my hermit crabs or fire shrimp to hurt/ damage it. Here's a picture of my set up, I have a small power head (240) GPH, in the top left corner. Let me know what you think?!!! I have a in the tank as we'll, frogspawn, the Heliofungia, and a zooanthid. Could this be too much flow!?

Sandbed and lower flow is best. They have delicate tissue and very sharp skeletons. A fall from the rocks or even being hit with flow can hurt the tissue and cause death. They're easy to keep but surprisingly delicate to the touch.

I actually experienced that last night all of a sudden I looked up my tank and some of my live rocket shifted which was the piece that had the Hilo on it. It didn't seem hurt or damaged and is fine today. I was actually surprised when I placed the Hilo in the tank, how sharp the skeleton on the bottom actually was it surprised me. I'm going to move it to the sand bed and see how it dose down there. Should I be worried about any my crabs or snails or fire shrimp?!

I don't keep hermit crabs but my emeralds or snails don't bother it. My skunk shrimp will steal food from it.

I just moved it down in the sand this morning. Lights are still off so I'll take a picture and upload it when their on. Thanks for the advise!

IF ANYONE HAS A HELIOFUNGIA PUT UP PICTURES!!!
