At least yours changes. I have the universal version on a holding tank, setpoint and actual have never said anything but 77. Seems dodgy.

Mine does not change. I checked with temperature monitors

So it constantly says 76.4 on the actual?
No like i on the helios controller it aays 77.0 77.0. I checked with my red sea ato which happens to also check temps it was 76.3. I checked with my hanna salinity checker and it says 76.8 and also checked with some cheapo amazon temp monitor and also 76.8 i calibrated my red sea now. And it seems we are good.

Actually u right something is funky with innovative marine and i hope they reply to this thread @Innovative Marine my temp was constantly saying 77F on the screen top and bottom. When i changed the temp to 78F just now. Its saying 76.6F. Lol what?

Mine keeps a stable 78. It will drop a bit if I have the return off for feeding but always clicks on as soon as I start it back up (audible click). The only issue I've had is the occasional error stating lack of flow when I have the return off which self corrects as well.

Purchased a +-.05 therm and it was spot on 78. Also verified with a surface temp laser therm.

Yeah then whats happening to mine? It says 77F. All the time. And while clearly its not at 77F? As soon as i clicked 78 changed my temp to that it showed my real temperature 76.6 im honesty confused

I'm going to have to test that. Other than the green element lights going on and off (click) the display never changes. You'd think it would say even 76.9 once in a while.

lol.
I just talked to bulk reef supply. And they told me if the probe itself is in the same chamber as my heater it wont give me an accurate temp and it will trick tje controller. They told me to move it before the heater elements and i just put it in the roller matt chamber

In a small chamber sure. Mine are in a 30 gallon holding tank at opposite ends - no "chambers" involved.

True my sump aint small either. Something is off here im emailing innovative marine about this issue why temp never change. I mean even in a perfect world u get 78.8 78.9 at least and the controller should show it. Even my 2 inkbirds on the other tanks shows those changes

Mine is rock solid @78.0°F 24/7.
Thats the issue mine is like that too but that seems to be false. The heater does not show the actusl fluctuation. Like 78.1 78.2 78.3 till u actually set a different temp to it and then it shows u the real temp.

The temp probe is in my dt in front of mp10, when feeding it doesn’t throw a code. Elements are in sump. At 77 degrees mine did the same down to 76.2. I calibrated Helios 5 degrees, set temp to 78 and now I get 77 degrees that I was after.
Last year set at 78 to get 78 and it was fine. It’s plugged into a Hydros so I’m watching that number.

I spoke with brian from innovate marine. And to be honest i still cant understand why it doesnt shop the temp in real time. Thats baffle me
