Only decent shop near Santa Monica is LAX Aquarium, Ellis Aquatics, Harry's Marine World. Theres more south in OC if you plan to go that far.

All great but far from Santa Monica. My recommendations were closest to SM starting with LAX and then Ellis and Harrys.
