Helllllloooooooo

just filled my tank with some fresh sea water, let the cycle begin!!! I’m sure this forum will be an invaluable resource, looking forward to lurking the many threads and hopefully one day contributing something worthwhile.

Oh one quick question. Do you think since I used sea water to cycle perhaps my rock will become live sooner and maybe I’ll get copepods from it? I live in Australia, with some prestine beaches just a short walk from my house so I’m not worried about water quality (famous last words haha)

Tank is a redsea 90L (20 or so gallons) nano reefer

Cheers

@Lenny blenny Welcome to R2R!!!

How excited we all get when seawater has entered the tank, then it transforms into an ocean creation. Hope all is successful !!

Welcome new reefer! Leave the tank with the same amount of time it would take to cycle a normal tank. just feed the tank will some pellet food or something so the bacteria have something to feed on. And yes you might get some copepods.
