Thank you dblWelcome to R2R and your new reefing family. Great looking tank.

Thanks! Yes I just completed fishless cycle in my 90 by dosing ammonia. I’m headed out today to my friends shop in Asheville NC. to pick up 30 peacock / haps that I picked out. I’m stoked! They have great colors and personality and will be easier to take care of than my 80 gallon reef tank.Welcome. And as for the cichlid tank the Africans are very bright and pretty. theres so many color combinations in fish it's like having a swimming reef.

Thanks! Yes indeed . I had in mind I could keep up with 2 reef tanks but It just wasn’t pratical for me after suffering sudden cardiac arrest on May 03 at the old age of 49. I am headed out today to pick up my peacock and hap Cichlid assortment for my 90 gallon that I tore down after my health issue .Welcome to R2R! The tank looks great but yeah, 1 tank is more than enough work, haha.
My other outdoor aquarium shot.nice to join y’all on this platform.i hope to have time to spend time on this site.looks like a lot of fun and informative. This hobby is very addictive.
I just setup my 80 gallon rimless tank Up and running a while back. I recently 90 gallon sps/lps tank that had been running for 2 years but changed it out to a Malawi Cichlid tank due to some health issues I’ve recently been hit with. I couldn’t keep up with 2 reef tanks unfortunately but getting a lot of enjoyment with them during my down time past 4 months at home!
I’m attaching shots of my new 80 and 90 before I changed out .
My 80 shallow reef sump is r300 eshopps sump with eshopps s series skimmer.
