Just showed up today. Or at least it came out of hiding. I have 3 anglers and 1 puffer in there. Annoying bubbles and mushrooms as well.

Looks like some strange flatworm possibly, or maybe a ctenophor of some sort? It's big, did it really just randomly show up all of a sudden?

That thing is wild lol. Never seen anything like it. I’m currently trying to find anything on google images without luck.

It moves around almost like a jelly fish but the ends are what curl in and out. I will go take vid.

So that rules out any mucus or egg sacks I think. I honestly can’t even find anything remotely similar. How big would you say it is?

I was thinking some type of snail spawn but that looks pretty huge and if its moving on its own then rules out snail spawn

Google conical snail egg sack and see if that’s similar. Just came across that now

This might just be the result of the water current disturbing the sack.
Also, searching up frogfish/anglerfish eggs gave me these similar results:
