Hi everyone,

I have just joined R2R and wanted to introduce myself. I live in chattanooga and am looking forward to the swap in a few weeks. I an fairly new to the hobby as I started with a 20g this spring as my first SW tank. This quikly grew to my 55g that I have now. I will post a few pics. I am currently awaiting my raffle win of the skimmer so I can start adding some soft corals. Just thought I would let you guys know so you don't waste your money on a ticket! Like I said 55g, 40lbs LR, 40lbs LS, 96wt T5HO lights, maxi-jet 600 (moded), Korellia 1, emperor 280 with bio-wheel. Tomato clown, sixline wrasse, coral beauty, cleaner shrimp, snails and hermits. Pics coming soon, just glad to find a LOCAL forum.

Great to have you here sleeper! We would love to here more about your setup as it progresses and help in any way possible. So what store do you frequent and how did you here about us.

I usually get my stuff from Donny down at 5th day. I think he has the best selection and seems to be a little cheaper than Bermuda. I have bought some stuff from Bermuda, and there fish are always very healthy but a little pricey sometimes. I actaully found the forum because I have been hanging out over at 3reef, and someone shot me a link to the frag swap page, and here I am.

Just caught this thread...Glad to have you here Sleeper! Tank is coming along nicely! Thanks for the tip on the skimmer!! Good luck and hope you win it. Glad you found us and hope to met you at the swap. You should be able to keep some corals before you get a skimmer. Just wait until the tank completely cycles and stick to soft corals or some LPS.

Thanks for the welcome newbie, I'm hoping it's done cycling. It's been up for 2 months, but all the stuff in it came from my 6 month old 20g. or a tear down from a several year old tank. I might try some of whatever is cheap at the swap because I am lookin at x-mas for a skimmer, and the wait is killin me.
