I also have plans to wire in a door switch so when I open the right cabinet door the lights come on. I'm trying to figure out a way now to turn an indicator light on when the reservoir is almost empty.
These two ideas are golden.
I have a book of ideas like this that would change the world of the hobby, but so little time to build the kingdom.
One step at a time right?
Just a few days ago I was checking on a clients new frag system and I noticed the Main Display was losing water.
I began with checking the system for leaks from the top down.
I ended up at the AutoTopOff, the line had been added into the MainDisplay and was under the surface of the water by 8 inches.
If I had not been in his office checking on things at that exact time, the system would have drained 50% via AutoTopOff!
I was thinking to myself how wonderful it would be if there were some sort of alarm, light, text, email; SOMETHING to warn the hobbyist of things like this.
Perhaps something to the effect of when a system loses more than a certain amount (a certain number/percentage, since all systems are different sizes) of TotalWaterVolume.
