I'm a month in taking over my late brother's 90gal reef tank however I haven't added any coral yet just have live rock and two clowns 3" red saddleback 3" niger trigger 4" crabs and snail..I wanted to add few more fish so I got two emerald damsels but didn't take their size into account about 2" the fish store said they would be ok with the trigger, fast-forward trigger attacked and killed one so I took the other out and put in backup tank...and suggestions on what I can add or should I just wath my sizes

Depending on your lighting you could try some softies at first. Zoanthids or some type of leather.

Do you want to add fish, or coral?

The Nigers are known for killing smaller fish and invertebrates (shrimp, hermits, etc) - especially new additions. Expect this to get worse as it gets larger. As long as you have it, you will need to add fish close to its size (and even then, there is risk).

If you want to add corals, what do you have for lighting and filtration? Some pics of your setup will help.
